Feedback:

capture1When asked the person some follow up questions he said all the other pages are easy to read, page 3 is fine but page 4 is hard to read and that “the pages feel cluttered” and that he” personally got bored with reading it “and it’s a lot of text on a singular page.

Capture2 crop person 2

Capture3 add in person 3

Evaluation draft
I have cut out two words somewhere else to allow the two words for the title for the 800 words requirements. For the draft, I made a fatal error, forgot to account for the words “visa” “expired” and the tag as part of the word count, meaning I’m over the word count by three words.
For the finial comic going to rearrange some of the words to cut out at least three words.

The reason why I made the colour tinted on the fourth page is because, personally it’s easier to read compared to the harsh white contrast, left the other three pages to give a comparison as well as to signify it’s the last page. However upon viewing viewers feedback, realized its yield the opposite effect. In conclusion I need to make the background white.

Plan of action:
-Going to simplify the images further,
-separate the text further,
-Add page numbers and a small statement on the title page, therefore it -should take away a portion of the text on the other pages, making it less -boring to read, so the viewers attention does not drift.
-Clean up the drawings, make it look smoother and colour in the gaps.
– Decided to do a quick search engine search of “Chinese silhouette puppetry” because the form of puppetry I portrayed on the third page might not have been correct. Realized for the third page I have drew it wrong because there would be no strings going from the top, in that form of puppetry its normally held with sticks therefore need to draw the lines coming from below instead for the final piece.
